Well, it’s fall and finally football season. I’m in all my feels over here. Today I baked a jalapeño popper loaf and a Kansas State Wildcats loaf. It was a busy day with these two loaves, cookies, and preparing my next round of bread. My family, who are sending me messages about my reels and wanting Powercat loaves of bread, made my day.
The icing on the cake was during round three of stretch and folds for my double batch. I asked my husband to touch the dough and see how far I’ve come with my gluten strength and dough development over the past few months. When I asked him to touch it, which he barely did…I said, “No…touch her like you mean it.”
He said it felt like a freshly shaved vagina.
I don’t think I could ever forget this, appreciate this, or fully explain what a huge compliment this was. So, question…If you make sourdough, would you count this as a compliment or a complaint? I’ll take freshly shaved vagina consistency anyday.
