Sourdough discard brownies.
No, they don’t taste sour. No, they aren’t bread.
Yes, the batter is every bit as dangerous as it looks.
After spending what feels like the last lifetime dropping f-bombs at sticky dough, chasing the perfect loaf, and questioning all my life choices… these brownies made me feel accomplished.
I’m starting to understand why sourdough people save every bit of discard. It’s free permission to make dessert… I’ll put a candle on one for luck.
