Strange Things…

Strange things are happening over here since Bee has become more independent, wants to do more on her own, and occasionally tells me to go away but then wants me right back. This is why I decided to sourdough. As you all know…Garth was born of Friday, June 19th, 2026. He might be struggling, he might not, but when you kneed to know you kneed to know (see how obsessed I am?)

My first instinct was to go down to the basement and grab Garth a sweater from the liquor bottle Christmas sweater collection…but I hate our basement, and that plan was aborted. I called my husband while he was at work to see if when he got home if he would go look for it. His response, “Did you really call me at work to ask me to go to the basement when I get home to find your jar of shit a sweater? instead of just waiting for me to get home?” But to be fair, perimenopause makes me forget things even though I wouldn’t have forgotten this. I might have been a smidge irreasonable.

This led me to my next possible era, knitting. Why you ask? It’s simple, I’ll tell you. To knit starter jars sweaters so they don’t get too cold to proof. I’ll of course sell these on Amazon, become a millionaire, then start a sourdough bakery.

For some helpful hints, I joined a Facebook group, asked a question, then left the group after 5 minutes because I felt like I asked a mom group why my kid had diaper rash, had an explosive feed of what I was doing wrong, and enough opinions to make me feel more confused…like a room full of chatty turkeys, so I said dueces and left.

After all this I decided Garth needed a friend…so meet Wayne. He’s made with whole wheat flour unlike Garth. Born at 5 pm on a rainy June day.

Which finally brings me to the point of this post. I bought a book, expedited the shipping got it three hours later, and now I’m sharing it here in case anyone else wants one too. Have a great day, and of course wine-d down through this adventure with me…Party on Wayne and party on Garth.

Maybe Garth just needed a friend. Next time they need a little pick me up might I suggest playing Bohemian Rhapsody to them and see how they do. I think it would be excellent.
