I feel like I’ve answered this one before. I know I haven’t been on WordPress long enough to get repeat prompts yet, and some of my answers probably are repeats. So if you’ve heard this before…congratulations, you’re paying attention. If you haven’t, well…pay attention. 😂
First, I wish I could clean fast. I enjoy cleaning most days, but it takes me forever. I’m the type of person who starts by wiping down the counter and ends up reorganizing the pantry, cleaning appliances and behind the appliances, and wondering why I own seventeen YETIs.
Music has to be playing while I clean, which doesn’t help. One song comes on and I need to know who sang it, what year it came out, and whether the lead singer is still alive. Before I know it, Task #1 has turned into a two-hour google rabbit hole and the laundry is still sitting in the basket wrinkling and about to go back in the dryer.
I’d also love to be able to play an instrument and sing at the same time. I have a pretty decent voice, but being able to sit down with a guitar or piano and just play while singing would be amazing. Those people make it look effortless, and I’m struggling to clap and stomp on beat during We Will Rock You.
And if we’re dreaming big, I’d love to know every language. I love talking to people, hearing their stories, and making connections. How cool would it be to walk anywhere in the world and be able to have a conversation with anyone? Then again, if I mastered all those skills overnight, I’d probably just use them to sing while cleaning behind the refrigerator and chatting with strangers in Spanish about why I own seventeen YETIs and have another on the way to be my World Cup cup.
