If you’ve ever been to an Avalanche game, or watched one on TV (hopefully you have), and heard the crowd proudly singing All The Small Things over and over, you’re not just hearing a repetitive soundtrack…it’s become a crowd favorite and tradition since 2019. How these guys can see a 3inch puck fly around on ice at 100 mph is beyond me. I can’t even swat a fly.
This series started out rough without defensive man Cale Makar. We should be on the road to 2-0, but instead they’re down one game and hanging on to a 1-0 lead heading into the 3rd period.
If you’ve watched Avalanche hockey before the playoffs, you know how much more they’re capable of. Games should be ending 6-2, if not more…but here I am anxiously waiting for goals and realizing this is the final four and that might not happen like it does during regular season hockey.
If you’re a hockey fan, I hope you’re on my side. If you’re not, join me and wine-d down in this outrageous adventure and hope for Finals hockey and a win. This way we can wine-d down together through this mess.
