Whining, Wine-ing & Winning

So last night we had a birthday party for my husband. All his aunts and uncles, his dad, mom, bonus mom… it was a full house and it was terrific. We had so much good food and a delicious cake I made…humble brag—but my niece-in-law said it was the best cake she’s ever had. (I’ll be posting the recipes soon.)

Anyway, after everyone left, we decided to keep the party going…karaoke style…until 1:30 a.m. Party in the USA came on, and my toddler belted it out like she’s heard it a thousand times. I thought to myself…when have you ever heard this song?? I don’t remember this happening or even playing it on repeat.

If I can figure out how to post a video on here, I will, because it was a great performance.
