What is your favorite holiday? Why is it your favorite?

“I’d have to say April 25th. It’s not too hot, not too cold…all you need is a light jacket.”

Ok seriously…real question, and I’ll try to answer like an adult for once. My favorite holiday is the 4th of July. I love blowing up fireworks, eating BBQ, the hot weather, and having the whole fam outside just hanging out and enjoying each other.

Well—everyone except Rumple. He ruins everything. He HATES fireworks, and “hates” doesn’t even cover it. He’s scratched at the walls, pooped on the floors because he refuses to go outside, and will launch himself into your lap like he doesn’t weigh 80 pounds. Thunderstorms are the same situation, so we’ll see if his Thunder Shirt from Amazon works this year. 

I’m hoping my daughter ends up loving this holiday as much as I do now that she’s a little older. She already enjoys making as much noise as possible in her playroom at all times, so I feel like we’re headed in the right direction.
