What topics do you like to discuss?

Honestly…whatever is happening right in front of me. Today alone? Severe weather alerts, tornado warnings, whether I should actually go to the basement or just side-eye the radar while watching a movie, and somehow I still ended up here…writing.

That’s kind of my thing. I talk about mom life…because I’m living in a constant mix of puberty and “two-berty,” and neither one of them knows how to act. I talk about food…because feeding people never ends, and if I have to do it, I’m at least going to make it good.

I talk about my dogs…because they have more personality than most people I’ve met, especially when thunder is involved.

I talk about sports, random thoughts, things that annoy me, things that make me laugh, and the moments that make me stop for a second and go…okay, this is actually pretty good.

Sometimes it’s deep. Sometimes it’s ridiculous. Most of the time it’s somewhere in between.

There’s no niche here. There’s no perfectly curated theme. It’s just real life, happening in real time…with a little commentary and probably a glass of wine somewhere in the mix…and if you’ve been here for any amount of time, you already know…

You never really know what you’re going to get.

So let’s wine-d down to my so called life.
